<p class="MsoNormal">I know it is already the start of a long weekend, but I didn’t want to wait until Monday to share this.

<p class="MsoNormal">Library IT has received several recommendations from Hudson Molonglo (HM) regarding our ArchivesSpace configuration. Their recommendations included some changes to MySQL memory allocation and other connection settings, the modification
of code for two custom plugins, and some general recommendations about database backups.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Library IT was able to implement these modifications today in our test environment. Our initial test results are positive. Updates/Saves are happening in several seconds. We will resume broader testing on Monday when YUL is open again.
We want to make sure the overall performance of the system is positive. <o:p></o:p></p>
