you’ve surely noticed, the production version of ArchivesSpace is still down after last week’s errors. From our point of view, this disruption in service was wholly avoidable, and we feel the disruption in our own work. As your representatives on the committee,
we are working closely with library IT to move ArchivesSpace toward a functional and robust service environment. We take our responsibility as your representatives seriously, and we are actively working toward a better long-term model.

committee will be thoroughly testing the newly-hosted instance of ArchivesSpace, beginning tomorrow. Although the work is being expedited,

to make sure that you know this so that you can plan your work around this disruption.

production begins, the most recent version of the data that we will be able to access will be from last Wednesday afternoon, near the end of the day. This means that any data you may have created Wednesday evening or Thursday will be lost.</span></b></p>
