An update: LC tells me that NACO catalogers would only be required to add
diacritics to an existing authority record if we were changing the
heading for other reasons.<br><br>
I'll be away the next two weeks; Steven Arakawa will be serving as acting
NACO coordinator. If you'd like to respond to this proposal, please send
your comments to him by Aug. 5th.<br><br>
