If you attended the Friday workshop, I apologize for the problem with the
copy/paste of the Moscow Philharmonic corporate name into the Connexion
searching box. We had to substitute my computer at the last minute, and I
had been using it to search for works of fiction by Madonna (don't ask)
and didn't realize that I'd left the fiction qualifier in the search
template when I tried to do the corporate name search on:
Moskovskaia gosudarstvennaia filarmoniia
Simfonicheskii orkestr. I tried it again on Connexion when my computer
was back in its usual niche, and once the fiction qualifier was disabled,
the search worked as expected. As long as you remember to remove the
delimiters, copying a heading from Orbis and pasting into a Connexion
search window should be no problem. By the way, I was able to paste the
same heading from Orbis into the OCLC Online catalog, and was able to
execute a successful search as well.
