appear in OCLC in October as part of a nationwide test involving the Library of
Congress and selected libraries in all categories (school, public,<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>college, research). <span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>These RDA records will have some obvious
differences from current cataloging. There will also be small differences that
may look like errors but which actually result from changes in the rules. This
one hour session is intended for<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
</span>staff working with cataloging copy. The session will provide basic
information about RDA, focusing on significant differences from AACR2 from a
cataloging perspective. At the end of the session, you should be able to
identify records cataloged according to RDA including some noteworthy
differences from current cataloging, and also<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>current YUL policies for processing
these records. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
