At this Sunday's meeting of the Academic Universe Content Advisory
Committee meeting in Chicago, one of the major topics on the agenda will
be a discussion of the interface and search features of the product
(LexisNexis Academic). Here's part of the message I just received
this morning:<br>

</font><font face="arial" size=2>we expect that an important company exec
will be there to hear directly the kinds of concerns and comparisons
we've been making between LexisNexis Academic (and by implication other
products of theirs) and competing products. . . . it will be
a great opportunity to get the big picture across to someone who can make
some decisions to invest in retooling the product. If you have a little
time before you leave for ALA to look at some of the competing products (
e.g. Factiva) and think about what you'll want to say, I think that would
be time well spent!</font></blockquote><br>
