<font face="arial" size=2 color="#333333">OCLC plans to integrate 12
databases that currently reside on the Eureka service with OCLC’s
FirstSearch service. The target release date for customer access to these
databases on FirstSearch is June 2007.<br>

The following Eureka databases will transfer to FirstSearch by June
2007:
<ul>
<li>Anthropological Index, Royal Anthropological Institute
<li>Anthropological Literature*</font>
<li><font face="arial" size=2 color="#333333">Anthropology
<i>Plus</i>*</font>
<li><font face="arial" size=2 color="#333333">Avery Index to
Architectural Periodicals
<li>Bibliography of the History of Art
<li>Chicano Database*
<li>FRANCIS (international humanities and social sciences)
<li>History of Science, Technology, and Medicine*
<li>Index to 19th-Century American Art Periodicals*</font>
<li><font face="arial" size=2 color="#333333">Russian Academy of Sciences
Bibliographies (social sciences)

In addition, these databases will transfer to OCLC's Connexion service,
in addition to FirstSearch, at an undetermined date in mid-2007:
<ul>
<li>Hand Press Book Database*
<li>SCIPIO: Art and Rare Book Sales Catalogs* </font>

</font><font face="arial" size=2 color="#333333">* Exclusive access
through the FirstSearch service.<br>

Please keep these exciting new additions to FirstSearch in mind as you
plan your FirstSearch subscriptions for the coming year. <br>

Beginning in early 2007, OCLC will share additional details about these
databases, including pricing, ordering instructions and the specific
timing of their availability on FirstSearch. This information will
be added to the Eureka transition Web site at

http://www.oclc.org/services/reference/rlg/default.htm</a> and will also
be distributed to you through the FirstSearch-l list. Descriptions
of these databases currently available on the
<a href="http://www.rlg.org/en/page.php?Page_ID=601&prodGo.x=22&prodGo.y=16">
RLG Web site</a> will also move to this Web site as OCLC prepares to move
the databases to the FirstSearch service. <br>
