Dear friends,

The days are long, the sun beaming, and our beloved seaside New Haven is
once again warm and wondrous. That can only mean the return of an iconic
summer tradition, set beneath the heady silhouette of Harkness Tower. *Yale’s
Summer Carillon Concert Series is back, for a thrilling 2025 Season!*

Join us in the pink sunset glow of *Branford Courtyard from 7pm-8pm, every
Friday from June 20 to August 8*, for an hour of music each that truly will
be the city’s soundtrack to the summer. This year, the Yale University
Guild of Carillonneurs is proud to host *eight showstopping concerts*
*featuring
internationally renowned performers, performed on the 54 bells of the
historic Yale Memorial Carillon*. The 2025 season’s program is especially
vibrant, spanning 400 dazzling years of music, from baroque to jazz, and
from classical music to pop—featuring everyone from Debussy to John Lennon,
and Haydn to Tyler, the Creator, showcasing original music for carillon
alongside arrangements of beloved songs from hit films, and reaching across
centuries and continents and countless cultures and musical traditions. *This
Summer Series truly has something to delight everyone!*

We’re thrilled to *kick off the season next Friday, June 20*, with none
other than the inimitable* Paul Stelben*, whose legendary playing style and
arrangements promise a stunning start to the series.

*As always, admission is free and everyone is welcome. *The concerts will
be held rain or shine, with a covered listening area available if it rains.
Access to Branford Courtyard will be from 74 High St, New Haven, with gates
opening at 6:30pm. *Feel free to bring picnic baskets, blankets, and
lawn-chairs!*
