Dear friends,

Can you believe we're already halfway into our beloved Summer Series? But
not to worry - the next weeks are set to be just as showstopping as the
first!

*First and foremost, we would like to say a HUGE thank-you to everyone
who's been coming to the concerts so far - and to all who have been
bringing their friends and family along! *Every carillon listener who joins
us, whether new or old, is a mark of pride for our entire Summer Carillon
community. Our concert series is entirely student-run, and nothing brings
us greater joy than seeing more and more folks share in our delight of
making music together every summer. This past week's showing in particular
was PHENOMENAL. *Please keep spreading the word - try and bring a few new
folks for a lovely sunset picnic below the bells whenever you can! *(If
every person brings a person, we'll be packing the Quadrangle in *no *
time...)

*This evening's concert will feature the sensational Kevin Chang!* Kevin's
program features gorgeous carillon classics alongside a shimmering
selection of some of the most beautiful music from film. *Same time and
place as always - 7pm to 8pm in the Branford College Courtyard (gates open
6:30pm)*. Kevin has kindly shared this fantastic video of him performing at
Rockefeller Chapel at UChicago: https://youtu.be/vpufF0EP29k?t=829. His program
for this evening is attached to this email, along with his bio.

Don't forget that *concerts may be livestreamed on our YouTube channel* (
https://www.youtube.com/@yaleguild) - you can even tune in to the stream
while attending in the courtyard to watch the performer in the cabin! A
recording of Janno den Engelsman's spectacular performance from last week
is here <https://youtu.be/IVOka8kk81s?list=RDIVOka8kk81s&t=675>.

The usual *Harkness Tower and Yale Memorial Carillon tour for today will
begin promptly at 5:30pm* (meeting at the corner of High St and Library
Walk), and last about half an hour. The tour requires climbing over 130
steps to the carillon playing cabin, spread over the tour duration. The
tour is capped at the first 15 attendees. *For this week and all coming
weeks, we ask that you please send us an email (at this address) to join
the pre-concert tour, so that we can reserve your place and meet you.*

See you all this evening - and always feel free to chat to us if you have
any questions about the carillon, Guild, or tower!

Warm regards,

*Reshard L. Kolabhai & **Ian Haile*
