Please excuse cross-posting...

On Friday, November 9th, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., the Collections
Collaborative will sponsor a workshop related to the use of primary
sources in teaching at Yale. This workshop will have three goals:
1) to provide education and information for
librarians/archivists/curators about how their colleagues at Yale
have interacted with faculty and graduate students to integrate
primary sources into courses
2) to provide an opportunity for input from faculty members and
graduate students about what barriers they have encountered in trying
to integrate primary sources into courses and/or what has worked well
3) consciousness-raising for librarians/archivists/curators, faculty
members, graduate students, and administrators re. the ongoing
activities of the Collections Collaborative.

The workshop will take place at the McDougal Graduate Student Center
and will include a panel of librarian/archivist/curator types and a
panel of faculty members, plus time for discussion.

So please save the date if possible and more info will be forthcoming.

Thanks
Martha
