Butterfly Sightings

There were 18 species of butterflies found during a visit to the Branford
Landfill on Saturday 8/12 including  a Little Yellow laying eggs on Cassia.
The complete species list is as follows:
 
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (2), Spicebush Swallowtail (1), Cabbage White (9),
Clouded Sulphur (1), Orange Sulphur (7), Little Yellow (1), Eastern Tailed
Blue (28), Summer Azure (1), Pearl Crescent (3), Common Buckeye (6), Monarch
(5), Wild Indigo Duskywing (1), Common Sootywing (2), Least Skipper (1),
Peck's Skipper (1), Tawny-edged Skipper (1), Crossline Skipper (1), Zabulon
