Thought some of you might be interested in this posting taken from the NJ
Rare Bird Alert.
A tremendous flight of RED ADMIRAL butterflies has been taking over the
last few days with thousands and thousands of individuals involved. Red
Admirals are southern butterflies that emigrate to our area each spring and
summer, but this years flight has been astounding.
A WIDOW SKIMMER, a dragonfly very rare in Cape May County, was seen in the
SCMM on July 9.
