We are currently doing aerial surveys for gypsy moths and I will be able to tell you in a few days what damage if any has happened. Need to have a few about to succumb to the fungus and continue to spread it . The fungus is very viable after 10 years, so we need a few gypmo's in low numbers.

Has anyone else noticed a lot of Gypsy Moths flying around over the last few days? There was pretty big hatch in my area and I'm seeing more than I can remember seeing for some time. I noticed the same thing in Long Island two weeks ago.
Also - today was the first day I heard cicadas. There's a few calling around my yard.
