Let's put this debate to rest

I would like to lend my support to the opinions expressed by John Himmelman (and other?), that CTLeps is not the appropriate forum for this ongoing battle about collecting. I feel the entire issue is getting out of hand, and some of the comments are getting personal in nature. The original purpose of this list serve was to share important news and interesting sightings of area lepidoptera. It is NOT the place to vent, or criticize others' activities. As John says, if you want to continue this discussion, please do so on your own time. I hope we can rise above the antagonism of recent email exchanges, and continue the tradition of supportive sharing that we have enjoyed in the past.
