I always like to make sure that the plant does not appear on the Connecticut
list of Non-native Invasive and Potentially Invasive Vascular Plants in
Connecticut List (Mehrhoff, et. al, 2001) first, before planting or
recommending planting anything, even if beneficial to leps. This helps
protect our native flora. The Connecticut Invasive Plant Working Group has a
web page at http://www.eeb.uconn.edu/invasives .
