10-11-02 - I did a butterfly walk for Sharon Audubon today - Not much flying
but I did get to see my first Broad-winged Skippers of the season!  Lots of
them among the cattails and phragmites by a pond.

Banded Hairstreak
GS Fritillarys
Pearl Crescents
Viceroy (ovipositing on poplar)
Silver-spotted Skipper
Dun Skippers

This is the year of the Hummingbird Clearwing (Hemaris thysbe)!  They are
everywhere I go.  I have about a dozen on my property.
