Seen yesterday at the I 291 right-ofway field on Maple Hill Avenue were:
Eastern Tailed Blue
Common Wood Nymph
Peck's Skipper
Crossline Skipper

I spent last week in northern Vermont and found pretty much the
same sparse lep situation I had left in Newington - cabbage whites and
clouded sulphurs in evidence without much else. The bright spots of the week
were a Dun Skipper and a Comma at my base in South Hero and a fresh Viceroy
at the edge of the Lamoille River near Winooski.
