Hi,
Just thought I would chime in on Checkered White. In Massachusetts, there
have been four sightings in the last 6 years - only one in any year, always
at Gooseberry Neck Reservation, Westport, always in late September. These are
apparently the only Mass. records in the last 50 years. One was photographed,
the other three were sight records.
