While tagging Monarchs at the Hammo Butterfly Garden today, I was asked by
some new butterfliers from Mass. to I/D a skipper. Checking out an Ageratum
plant I found a Ocala Skipper, a Fiery Skipper and a Sachem Skipper all
within a foot or so of each other. Hope those new butterfliers don't think
butterflying is that easy.
In addition to the usual butterflies at Hammo I also saw one Variegated
Fritillary and one Mourning Cloak.
And we were able to tag 83 Monarchs!!!
