field trip reminder & a sighting

Just wanted to remind everyone of the Saturday's field trip...
July 12, 10 AM, Bill Yule will lead us on a tour of Guilford Hotspots, 
beginning with the Braemore property--Route 77, across from Bluff 
Head Farm (big red barn), .9 miles south of Durham and 1 mile 
north of Lake Quonipaug.

Yesterday in Killingworth I saw a Tiger Swallowtail and a 
Spicebush Swallowtail puddling in the mud in a driveway.  I 
actually got out of my van and made them move so I wouldn't run 
them over--they were circling my van, so I expect they returned as 
soon as I left!
