Saturday, 8/28- A female Fiery Skipper was nectaring on the Buddleia at Van
Wilgen's Nursery In North Branford.
I also received my first report of Cloudless Sulphur off the list. It was
seen earlier today.
These two reports suggest that southern immigrants are making their way into
CT thanks to the steady southwest winds and can probably found at butterfly
gardens at coastal localities, e.g., the butterfly garden at Hammonasset St.
Park or the brand new CBA butterfly garden at Lighthouse Point Park in New
Haven.
