Since it was too hot to pull weeds or clean the garage this afternoon,
I headed out for some lep hunting.
In addition to the obligatory Cabbage Whites & cluded Sulphurs, the
clearing on Cedar Mountain behind the Humane Society produced:
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (1)
Great Spangled Fritillary (2)
Baltimore Checkerspot (1)
Little Wood Satyr (7)
Silver-spotted Skipper (1)
European Skipper (a zillion)
Little Glassywing (1)
The Piper Brook Flood Control Area offered little except a nice
first-of-year:
Monarch (1)
