Butterfly Sightings

Thursday, June 1- I visited Fresh Meadows Sanctuary in Cheshire where I  
found a total of 16 species of butterflies.  The list for the day is as  follows:
 
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (1)
Cabbage White (3)
Clouded Sulphur (3)
Orange Sulphur (1)
American Copper (2)
Eastern Tailed Blue (6)
Pearl Crescent (20)
American Lady (1)
Little Wood Satyr (62)
Common Ringlet (1)
Monarch (1)
Wild Indigo Duskywing (2)
Peck's Skipper (18)
Tawny-edged Skipper (8)
Hobomok Skipper (4)
Dusted Skipper (4)
 
For those of you not familiar with this locality, Fresh Meadows Sanctuary  is 
on Cook Hill Road in Cheshire, approximately 1/2 mile east of the  
intersection of Route 10 and Cook Hill Rd.
