SE CT butterflies

Today

At Salem Country Gardens, I spotted a Painted Lady on buddleia. I've seen 
plenty of American Ladies this year, but this was my first Painted Lady.

In my backyard, A Variagated Fritillary, also a FOY for me.

Lots and lots of skippers still. 

I tagged my first two Monarchs of the season yesterday. I know it's a little 
early but since I was just releasing them, I thought I'd tag them just to see 
if they stuck around. Haven't seen them back today.
