Walden Walk

20-25 people turned out for the walk at Walden today. Despite a slow start  
with cool temps and in and out sun,  23 species  were seen.
Disappointments: Swallowtails and Hairstreaks 
High Lites: Swallowtail and Northern Pearly Eye
Species seen during first part of walk:
Pipevine Swallowtail   out of it's territory and season   Thanks to Hank we 
got the I/D right  New for Walden
Clouded & Orange Sulphurs
Cabbage White
American Copper
Summer Azure
Eastern Tailed Blue
Great Spangled Fritillary
Comma
Red Admiral (butterfly and caterpillar)
Monarch
Wood Nymph
Little Wood Satyr
Silver Spotted Skipper
Euro, Little Glassy Wing, Northern Broken Dash Skippers
Additional B/F seen on 2nd part of walk
Red Spotted Purple
Appalachian Brown
Northern Pearly Eye (lots)
American Lady
Dun Skipper 
Delaware Skipper
Zabulon Skipper very worn
 
I think that's all of them.
