A quick 1/2 hour in my back field after work this afternoon produced the following species:

Spicebush Swallowtail
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Cabbage White
Clouded Sulpher
American Copper
Pearl Crescent
Tawny-edged Skipper
Peck's Skipper
Long Dash
Hobomok Skipper
Southern Cloudywing
Juvenal's Duskywing (well worn)
Dreamy Duskywing
Little Wood Satyr

Pink-legged Tiger Moth
Nessus Sphinx

Also, at Broken Arrow Nursery in Hamden I observed a Viceroy laying eggs on willow. She lands on the leaf, backs down the leaf and lays the egg at the very tip of the leaf each time.
