Hi Larry,
Even at this late date, could you please
distribute this to any available lists of the Lep
Soc. and others you might care to send this to? Thanks!
African Butterflies Are Even More Interesting Than You Could Imagine?

Dr. Torben B. Larsen has devoted much of the past
20 years to the study of Africa?s 4,000 butterfly
species. Most species make their home in the
rapidly shrinking rainforests of the continent,
although surprisingly very few have gone extinct.
Using color images interspersed with some of the
more light-hearted episodes from his travels in
25 African countries, the author of "The
Butterflies of Kenya and Their Natural History"
and "Butterflies of West Africa" will tell us
about some of the most interesting, surprising
and amusing aspects of the African butterfly fauna.
