Today, after looking for a number of days we saw the first adult
Baltimores (2) at Macricostas. They are late; the latest early date
in the past three years was 6/23. Maybe it has something to do with
all the rain.
Interestingly, there were still caterpillars actively feeding,
pre-pupal cats hanging from leaves and lots of chrysalises. I wasn't
aware that one could see all those stages of one species at one
time. Now if we could just find an ovipositing female!
	We also saw:

	Cabbage White
	Clouded Sulphur
	Summer Azure
	Great Spangled Fritillary
	Eastern Comma
	Viceroy
	Appalachian Brown
	Little Wood-Satyr
	Silver-spotted Skipper
	Least Skipper
	European Skipper
	Peck's Skipper
