Lyme-Old Lyme

   While kayaking this morning on Lieut River in Old Lyme I saw my FOY Broad-winged Skippers in the marsh on Purple Loosestrife.  My first sightings of this species in the past ten years have been during the first 10 days of July.
 This afternoon off Ely Ferry Road in Lyme also had my FOY Northern Pearly-eye and Question Mark. Along with Appalachian Browns, Cabbage White and a Silver-spotted Skipper
