There are a handful of second brood records from Westchester County, NY. I
see in my photo collection an individual from Aug. 20, 2005 from the Katonah
area. There's a published record of one seen by Jeff Glassberg in Chappaqua
Sept. 9. 1991. I also recall seeing two individuals probably a few days
later one year at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation (exactly details not
currently available).

On August 11th I observed what I thought was a fresh Long Dash at Broken
Arrow Nursery in Hamden and managed to get 1 not so great photo whcih Lenny
Brown confirmed was indeed a Long Dash. Typically this species only produces
one brood in mid-may to mid June. Lenny indicated a second brood in August
has been reported. Very cool.
