On Tues, I also saw a Monarch on milkweed in Windsor; she had laid eggs. On Mon, milkweed leaves I collected in Newington yielded a small caterpillar. So there is a trend.

Subject: Finally a Monarch in the Milkweed
This afternoon at about 4 pm I went to the garden to collect bronze fennel
for my BST cats and a Monarch was eagerly flitting about my milkweed. I
didn't actually see her oviposit but she was acting like she wanted to. Tomorrow
I will check for eggs.
