butterflies at LHPP yesterday

9/21/2011, 2:30 PM or so:
 
Many, many Common Buckeyes, Orange Sulphurs and Fiery Skippers in the garden at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven.  Too many to count.  A few Buckeyes were mating.  
 
Monarch counts for the park were way down.  I tagged a few and George & Peggy tagged about 20 for the day; they were there longer than I was.  I hope the numbers come up by Sunday.
