Small Tiger!!!

Some years ago I actually encountered a "dwarf" Tiger in my yard in Peabody MA during late July (or early August?). Although whatever the cause of my "dwarf", it would not likely have been similar to this one of John's...

I went out in my yard this morning and found this!!! Not only is April 1 an early date for a Tiger Swallowtail, but I've never seen one so small! Sometimes when the food source of the last instar disappears and forces it to pupate early, it produces a smaller adult, but this just blew me away!
