[Ctleps-l] Giant Swallowtail

Had one here this past weekend in Windsor Locks! It was impressive. Looks like it visited the phlox and maybe the buddleia. Kind of a shy butterfly. I had one here last summer too.

Giant Swallowtail showed up at 4pm to nectar at Monarda (bee balm) in our North Guilford yard.  Didn't show interest in Buddleia. Stayed about one minute then headed off into woods.
