Today at St Agnes Church Garden

Red Banded Hairstreak
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Spicebush Swallowtail
Eastern Tailed Blue with wings open to gain heat..beautiful!
Common Buckeye looking pristine and oh so gorgeous
And skippers!

This afternoon in New London at the far end of Montauk Ave:
A beautifully fresh GIANT Swallowtail
I love the way they glide..

The female Giant was not seen at my home in Niantic which she has been 
frequenting  the last few days. She was a little worn and I caught her resting 
on the ground a few times in the veggie garden yesterday. Maybe she gave all 
she could..I have gratefully collected 12 eggs.
