[Ctleps-l] Monarchs at Lighthouse Point Park today

While deadheading at the garden at LHPP this morning we had:

Silver-spotted Skipper  5

Cabbage White  8 or 10

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail  1
Broad-winged Skipper  1
American Lady  2
Monarch   at least 15

This is the most Monarchs I have seen at LHPP in one morning since 2012. Most were males, some were very worn and ragged and some were were very fresh looking. On a positive note; at least a few made it all the way to CT this summer.  Lets hope for a good fall flight.
