7/5 - I made a short stop at the Naugatuck Industrial Park (Raytkwich
Road) today.
Very windy, but there was a lot flying after yesterday's rain from Arthur.
Highlights were two HICKORY HAIRSTREAKS and at least nine Acadian
Hairstreaks.

The Hickory Hairstreaks were on sumac and dogbane, very close to where I
had one last year. One Banded Hairstreak was with them.

Most of the Acadians were in the pipeline cut, with up to six dogfighting
at once, though they were hard to follow so the total count should probably
be higher.

I also walked Osbornedale SP's fields in Derby and had:

Cabbage White 2
Clouded Sulphur 3
Orange Sulphur 1
Banded Hairstreak 2
Eastern Tailed Blue 2
Summer Azure 1
Great Spangled Fritillary 5
Pearl Crescent 2
Eastern Comma 1
Red Admiral 2
Little Wood Satyr 1
Common Wood Nymph 2
Silver-spotted Skipper 5-10
Northern Broken Dash 1
Little Glassywing 15

Best of the dragonflies there were two Carolina Saddlebags.
