[Ctleps-l] Field trip report

On Saturday, August 22nd, 17 participants joined me on the CBA field trip
to three sites in Guilford, Jared Eliot Preserve, Chaffinch Island Park and
Spencer Creek Preserve.  The list for the day is as follows:

Black Swallowtail (1)
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (3-4) including 1-2 dark form females
Spicebush Swallowtail (1)
Cabbage White (15)
Clouded Sulphur (2)
Orange Sulphur (1)
Eastern Tailed-Blue (2)
Great Spangled Fritillary (2)
Pearl Crescent (5)
Hackberry Emperor (5-6), 2 at Jared Eliot, 4-5 at Spencer Creek Preserve
Monarch (2)
Silver-spotted Skipper (4)
Peck's Skipper (11)
Tawny-edged Skipper (2)
Northern Broken Dash (1)
Zabulon Skipper (1)
Broad-winged Skipper (9)

The avian highlight of the day was a Marbled Godwit across the channel from
Chaffinch Island Park, foraging at the water's edge at low tide.
