>From Steve & Charla Spector, 10:00 AM, 8/24/15, Milford Point, near Francis Street spit, 5 Checkered Whites, 4 males, 1 female.  Charla found first male on sea-lavender just west of Francis St spit.  On usual spot, found a worn female (easier to photograph because not patrolling).  Photo of female at www.stevesbirds.blogspot.com.  Favorite nectar source the often maligned Spotted Knapweed.
