[Ctleps-l] Long-tailed Skipper Stratford Point 9/8

I was chatting with Jim Dugan while watering around 6 at Stratford Point
(no more Little Yellow sightings today) when I noticed a probably "good"
lep by our building. You do get used to how they all move here, and this
was Something...the flight erratic, a couple feet off the ground, and
bumpy. It was a dark triangle and it was stopping on butterfly bushes for a
second or two. Cool moth? After about 20 seconds it paused on one long
enough to give me about three perfect seconds with the bins at close range
- a pristine Long-tailed Skipper. Jim and I saw it zip towards the
dumpsters and we lost it completely right then and there. We looked until
past sunset here and nope, nada.

Stop by tomorrow or join us for the walk on Saturday to see if you can find
it/one, and hopefully this was only the first.
