Subject: Giant Swallowtail and Red-Spotted Purple

Giant Swallowtail ovipositing on a wild lime tree we bought back from Florida and keep trimmed to 5 feet and winter it on our sun porch.  It spent most of its time there but laid a few eggs on the flower heads of rue as well.  The red-spotted purple was the first we have ever seen in our yard.  It land briefly on shad-bush and flew away although we keep  a few native cherry trees  trimmed to 15 feet high for the butterflies.
