Additional info from Beth on staff allocations for Fedora systems in use:

FTEs for Fedora systems in use:

1 ) Encylopedia of Chicago:
at the outset:

    * 1 FTE - Designer and Integration
    * 1 FTE - project manager
    * 3 editors and several authors to verify content
    * 3 P/T researchers and 1/2 FTE scanning technician working on new
      content, i.e. new articles being added to the encyclopedia
    * 6 people at Northeastern working between 5 and 30 hours per week

now: "bare bones because of money"

2) UVa

    * 5 FTEs at the outset  (11 people doing development in "time slices")
    * 3 FTEs now
    * They also used PTEs (1/2 FTEs) for web and system maintenance;
      another PTE for presentation and layout; now 1 FTE is dedicated as
      a Repository Specialist


3) Rutgers / NJDH

    * 4 FTE developers
    * 2 project coordinators
    * 2 FTE system and web maintenance


4) Tufts

    * 2 1/2 - 3 FTEs developers
    * 2 managers: 1 at their central IT and 1 in Library @ 1/2 FTE each
    * 1 FTE web and system maintenance
    * team of grad students doing data entry, mark up, metadata, etc, etc,
