Dear all,
At Humboldt University Berlin (Scandinavian dpt) I offer one or two
courses in historical linguistics each year, either historical lx /
history of the Scandinavian languages (BA3) or a more specific topic
such as language contact/ language change (BA2) or grammaticalization
(MA). The BA courses are obligatory for students specialising in
Scandinavian linguistics, the MA ones are elective. Old Icelandic is an
obligatory course for all students, and if time permits I have an
(elective) course in Old East Scandinavian (Old Danish, Old Swedish).
I know that my colleagues in the German / Linguistics department have a
lot on offer too.
All the best,
Muriel
