Dear colleagues,

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Latin Linguistics for the ERC-selected project “Computational Corpus Annotation for Quantitative Analysis of Latin Lexical Semantics” (COALA) at King’s College London. Led by Dr Barbara McGillivray, the project is funded by UKRI under the ERC Guarantee scheme and explores Latin semantics through large-scale corpus annotation and computational analysis, combining NLP with historical linguistics.

The successful candidate will design and curate a 1-million-token Latin corpus, conduct annotation of word senses in the corpus, and conduct case studies on Latin semantic change and variation.

Location: Strand Campus, London
Fixed-term: 3 years
