shhhhhhh -- Secret Societies & Study Abroad
"Secret societies have a long reach; I was tapped for one while I was
abroad, and two of my friends were also. If anything, missing the stress
surrounding tap week junior spring was a blessing! And it didn't take long
for me to catch up once I returned for senior year."

Do you have a passport?
If you don't have a passport and plan on travelling abroad (for study or
other activities) next semester, or in summer 2006, you should apply
soon. Information about the application process is available at
http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html. Don't delay! It can
take up to 6 weeks (possibly longer) to get your passport after submitting
the application to a passport acceptance facility. If you are worried
about how long it will take, you can choose the expedited service
option. See the State department web site for a listing of passport
acceptance facilities and other information about the application process.

Friday Walk-ins Cancelled-This Week & Next
Due to Friday's International Opportunities Fair, and an out-of-town
conference, my Friday walk-in hours will be cancelled this week and
next. Regular walk-ins will take place next week on Monday and Wednesday
afternoons -- and you can always call and set up a scheduled appointment
time (432-8684).

International Opportunities Fair
Don't forget to come to the gym on Friday for the 4th Annual International
Opportunities Fair. Last year 500+ Yale students attended -- don't be one
of the ones that misses out this year!
                 Friday, September 30, 2005
                 1-3pm
                 Lanman Center, Payne Whitney Gymnasium
