March 31 -- JYA/JTA Deadline for fall and full-year applications
Students planning on spending the fall of 2006 or full academic year 
2006-07 abroad on Junior Year or Term Abroad must submit their Yale 
applications to the JYA Committee (available at 
http://www.yale.edu/iefp/studyabroad/forms?mm=4) by 4pm on Friday, 
March 31.  Whether or not you have heard back yet from your study 
abroad program, or indeed, whether or not you have actually applied 
to your program, you must submit your Yale application by 4pm on the 
31st.  If you have not yet applied to a program, there are still 
options for fall/year study abroad.  To discuss your options, please 
call 432-8684 to schedule an appointment.

Peking University-Yale University Joint Program in Beijing
Spring 2007 Application Deadline
Applications for the spring 2007 semester of the Peking University 
Yale University Joint Program in Beijing will be accepted until noon, 
Friday, April 7, 2006.  If spaces are still available, additional 
applications will then be accepted in early September.  Please hand 
deliver your materials to: Peking University-Yale University Joint 
Undergraduate Program, International Education and Fellowship 
Programs, 55 Whitney Avenue, 3rd floor. NOTE:   Please write your 
Student ID Number on the top of the application form.  Thank 
you!  Information on the program can be found at

"Alternative" Study Abroad Destinations
Thinking about study abroad, but don't want to follow the crowds to 
London, Paris and Madrid?  Below is just a small sampling of the 
"alternative" destinations that are available to you.  Many are still 
accepting applications for the fall or full year, so it's not too 
late to plan a JYA/JTA for next semester!
