Davenport College/Pierson College Study Abroad Study Break
When: Monday, 2/18 @ 8pm
Where: Davenport Common Room
Come talk with peers in your colleges who have studied abroad during
the academic year. Hear about their experiences and learn more about
your own study abroad options. Refreshments will be served.
IFSA-Butler - Spanish-Speaking Programs Info Meeting
When: Tuesday, 2/19 @ 4pm
Where: IEFP -- 55 Whitney Ave., Room 305
Come and learn about options for study abroad in Latin America and
Spain with IFSA Butler. IFSA offers university-enrollment programs in
the academic year in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, Mexico and
Spain. They also offer summer programs in Argentina, Mexico and Spain.
PKU-Yale Joint Undergraduate Program Study Break
When: Wed., Feb. 20th at 8:00 pm
Where: Trumbull College
What: Explore Beijing
Earn Yale credits.
Take seminars with Yale and Peking University faculty.
Learn about the Peking University-Yale University Joint Undergraduate
Program in Beijing from past participants at Trumbull College.
Chinese food will be served!
Deadline: Fall Semester & Full Year Applications for University College London
12Noon, Friday, February 22
Yale students applying to UCL for the fall semester 2008 or full
2008-09 academic year must submit the complete UCL application, along
with Yale's Year or Term Abroad application, to IEFP by 12pm Noon on
the 22nd. The UCL application can be downloaded at
http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/international-students/study-abroad/overseas-students-at-ucl/undergraduate-affiliate-jya/how-to-apply.
Yale's application is available on the Forms page of the study abroad
web site http://www.yale.edu/iefp/studyabroad/forms?mm=4.
Resources from Anywhere in the World
When: Friday, February 22, 1pm to 2pm,
Where: Bass Library, Lower Floor, Room 101, 119 High Street
In this session, you will learn about some of Yale Library's
international online news sources, dictionaries, and other services
and resources that help you stay in touch with what's going on in the
world. These sessions are useful for international students,
scholars, and staff; students who are going abroad; and for
international visitors, spouses, or anyone who is interested.
