Deadline Reminder!
Wednesday (10/15) is the Term Abroad application deadline for spring semester 2009.  All applications are due in the study abroad office by noon, Wednesday (October 15).  You will find application instructions, and a link to the application forms, at http://www.yale.edu/yalecollege/international/advising/type/study/application.html.

Wednesday is also the spring application deadline for the PKU-Yale University Program.  All applications are due in the study abroad office on Wednesday.  You will find application instructions and forms at
 http://www.yale.edu/iefp/pku-yale/process.html.

If you don't like waiting in line, don't wait until Wednesday morning to submit the paperwork - bring your applications in on Monday or Tuesday and avoid the last-minute rush!


Info Meeting: John Thouron Prize for Summer Study at Pembroke College, Cambridge University
When:    Tuesday, October 14 @ 4pm

About the John Thouron Prize:  The Thouron family, known for its generous commitment to trans-Atlantic academic exchange at the graduate level, inaugurated a new program in 2006, designed to give undergraduate students an understanding of both shared and differing aspects of British and American culture.

The John Thouron Prize will be awarded to a small, select, group of undergraduates from Harvard, Yale, and the University of Pennsylvania to pursue an eight-week summer program at Pembroke College, Cambridge University. Through exposure to the world-renowned tutorial system, students will be challenged intellectually, and through engagement with a wide range of carefully tailored extracurricular experiences, they will have an enriching cultural experience.

Application Deadline:
This year's deadline for Thouron applications is noon, Thursday, December 4.
