Year/Term Abroad Application Deadlines - fall and full year 09-10 study abroad
YTA New Program Petition Deadline: Sunday, February 15
This deadline is for students requesting review of a program not currently listed as approved for YTA in the online database.

Regular YTA Application Deadline: Friday, March 6
This deadline is for applications to study on a program already approved for YTA and listed on the online database.

To find a list of approved programs go to the Opportunities page of the CIE web site (http://www.yale.edu/yalecollege/international/opportunities/index.html). On that page, click on "Search for International Opportunities", and begin searching for programs. Once you find the program to which you wish to apply, click on the "Start Applying" button on that program's information page - this will lead you to the application materials; make sure to follow all the steps. If you don't find a program that suits your academic needs, then you use the New Program Petition; this application is listed in the database as Study Abroad; Year or Term Abroad New Program Petition. Please remember that for both the regular YTA application, and the new program petition, you not only have to apply to Yale for approval, but you also need to apply directly to your chosen study abroad program/university.

If you have ANY questions about the application process, or want to speak with someone about program choices, please call the study abroad office to schedule an appointment with an advisor (432-8684).
