Columbia University Libraries has recently implemented Insight and
Inscribe. We now need to import records cataloged by the Art
History Dept.'s Visual Media Center into Inscribe. Their records are
in a MySQL relational database.

We are interested in learning how other instituitions handled the
direct export of data from local systems into Inscribe. Were
records put in a flat file such as an Excel spreadsheet? Was the
existing table structure mimiced and then imported? Other methods?

Thanks,
Robbie Blitz
